Religious Tourism
The Greeks have been deeply religious people since the antiquity years. The customs and the oral traditions have suspended and conveyed the religious sentiment throughout their rich history since the Minoan years through our days.
If you are interested in a trek to one of the Christian Orthodox Holy Monasteries in Crete, then follow us. Precious treasures and sacred artifacts are meant to welcome the visitor who wishes to experience spirituality in their frugal, yet hospitable, cells.
All the monastery edifices, which were erected through love and pain to praise the Lord, show just one dimension of the monastery. We will be shown the interior and the avaton complying with the monastery rules and monk suggestions. You will have the opportunity to see, hear and ask anything regarding monastic life, the religious beliefs of the monks, and discuss any religious and dogmatic queries.
You will experience the monks’ everyday life and taste their delicacies in the mess hall. You will enjoy the lovely nature in Crete and sense the monks’ ecological consciousness.
